KM-Airbed Privacy Policy (Google Play Global Version)

This Privacy Policy applies to the KM-Airbed mobile application, developed and operated by an independent individual developer.
We take your privacy rights seriously and hereby make the following core statement:
KM-Airbed is a fully offline utility application. It does not request any internet permission and has no capability to upload data remotely. All functional data is stored exclusively on your local device. We do not collect, upload, store, or share any of your personal information with any third party.
By downloading, installing, or using this application, you acknowledge that you have read and fully understand all contents of this Privacy Policy.
I. Permissions and Local Data Processing
We only request system permissions to the extent necessary for the corresponding functions. All data is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted off the device. The permissions and data purposes for each function are as follows:
1. Bluetooth Device Control
- Permissions requested: Bluetooth scanning and connection permissions, Location permission (mandated by the Android system)
- Purpose of data: Used solely to search for, pair with, and control your smart airbed device. The application reads device identifier information such as the name and MAC address of nearby Bluetooth devices.
- Important note: Location permission is a mandatory requirement of the Android system for performing Bluetooth scanning. This application does not collect, record, store, or upload your actual geographic location information, nor does it derive your location from Bluetooth data.
- Storage method: Paired device information is saved only in the local on-device database and is accessible exclusively by this application.
2. Sleep Monitoring
- Permissions requested: Microphone permission, File storage permission, Notification permission
- Purpose of data:
- Microphone permission: Activated only when you manually start sleep monitoring, to record ambient sound and snoring, and to analyze sleep status and snoring patterns via on-device algorithms.
- File storage permission: Used to save audio recordings, sleep analysis intermediate data, and report files locally on your device.
- Notification permission: Used to display a persistent status notification during background sleep monitoring to ensure stable operation of the monitoring service. It is not used for marketing push notifications.
- Storage method: All audio recordings and analysis intermediate data are stored only in your device’s local storage, with no network transmission of any kind.
3. Sleep Report
- Data description: The application generates sleep reports based on local sleep monitoring data, including sleep onset time, sleep duration, snoring statistics, and other related metrics.
- Storage method: All report data is stored in the application’s local database on your device. There is no cloud synchronization and no data upload to any server.
Additional Note
This application does not provide account registration or login functions, and does not collect any personally identifiable information (such as name, phone number, email address, etc.).
II. Data Storage and Security
- Storage location: All application data is stored locally on your personal mobile device. We do not operate any cloud servers, and there is no scenario of cross-border data transfer or cloud storage.
- Retention period: Data will remain stored on your device until you actively clear application data or uninstall the application.
- Security safeguards: Application data is protected by the device’s system security mechanisms and can only be accessed by this application on the same device. Since we do not hold any of your data, there is no risk of data leakage or misuse.
III. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We strictly commit to the following:
- We will not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise provide your personal data to any third party in any form.
- We will not share your data with any third-party service providers. This application does not integrate any third-party statistics, advertising, push notification, or analytics SDKs.
- We may only disclose relevant information when legally compelled to do so (e.g., when required by judicial authorities in accordance with statutory procedures). However, since all application data is stored entirely on the user’s local device, we are unable to provide any of your personal data content.
IV. Your Data Rights
Under applicable privacy regulations (such as GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you have corresponding rights regarding your personal data. Given the fully offline nature of this application, you can exercise all rights directly through your device without contacting us:
- Right of access: You can view all sleep reports and historical monitoring data directly within the application.
- Right to erasure: You can permanently delete all data associated with this application on your device by using the “Clear data” function in your device’s system settings, or by uninstalling the application. This operation is irreversible; please proceed with caution.
- Right to withdraw consent: You may revoke authorization for corresponding functions at any time by turning off permissions such as microphone, location, storage, and notifications in your device system settings. Revoking permissions will disable the corresponding functions, but will not affect data already stored prior to the revocation.

This application is designed for general adult users and is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately using the information below.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in response to feature updates or regulatory requirements. The updated policy will be posted within the application and on the Google Play Store page. Your continued use of the application constitutes acceptance of the revised content. For material changes, we will notify you via in-app notification.
